Become a Master Wildcrafter
Wildcraft Forest School is the first educational center to offer a Wildcrafting Bioregional Studies Certificate(WBSC) and a Wildcraft Practitioners Diploma (WPD) for Master Wildcrafters. The school operates within a co-mentorship structure and connects students with ancient Shamanic teachings. The Wildcrafting Bioregional Studies Certificate is intended to strengthen Permaculture Design Courses and offers students an opportunity to learn and practice stewardship, restoration and harvesting in remote wildland areas. The following represents the course offerings presently avaiable for at Bioregional Studies Certificate(WBSC).

The Wildcraft Forest is a working
plantation and farm and it is also a
workshop centre and wildcraft farm school.
We issue a Wildcraft Practitioners Diploma. We offer seasonal classes, seminars, fieldtrips and workshops which provide an inspirational and creative environment for students ranging from children to adults and from beginners to professionals. The studio village has been operating as a workshop centre for over 30 years. We seek to bring quality programming, from leading edge artists, thinkers and do’ers locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Our scope is to link the arts, creativity, permaculture, food, wellness and activism with wildcrafting.

Animal Speak
Hidden within each of us are natural forces that have been active for thousands of generations. These gentle forces are intrinsically connected to Mother Earth and all of her sentient beings. Today within many of us, those forces are asleep but they are eager to be reawakened.
This is a voyage of discovery as we chart a course through a maze, which you have already begun to explore. But this journey requires great effort and courage; it will challenge every part of your being as it presents what we believe to be uncertain - as the fantastic. Your life will change as you discover that you are not alone – you exist within a life-force populated by beings that inhabit many different planes of existence – and they are real.
This course helps you to explore the hidden communication networks that exist between animals, their spirits and human beings. By the end of this course you will have nurtured your own creative force that enables you to harness the symbiotic relationships that are connected to everything. This six-month program includes seven sections that are delivered through distant learning components that are combined with fieldwork as well as guided interactions within the natural world.
During the course you will be assigned a Wild Skills Guide who will help you navigate so that you become strengthened to become your own guide, able to explore the realm of Animal Spirit Medicine.

Participants can register to participate in one of our Animal Speak Camps, or you can take this course by correspondence, which includes lessons with online and phone support.
Intention and purpose are intertwined as a double helix within our DNA and we share this symbiosis with all living beings on planet Earth. Each of us is here for an inner purpose and when our intentions meet with our purpose, an immense satisfaction permeates through our soul. This becomes a form of ecstasy.
Wildcrafting Animal Speak is inspired by ancient wisdom and indigenous practices. Participants will seek to understand the language of nature and to recognize which animals are prominent as personal totems or spirit guides. Totemism helps people participate in the nature of the totem animal and to connect with the sacred core of a human-as-animal experience. Ted Andrews wrote, "When we learn to speak with the animals, to listen with animal ears and to see through animal eyes, we experience the phenomena, the power, and the potential of human essence." In the 1940’s the leading representative of British social anthropology, A. R. Radcliffe-Brown, described totemism as the way nature is introduced into the social order rather than secondary to it.
