The Wildcraft Forest presents four different Yasei Shinrin Yoku Weekend Destination Retreats. As forest expeditions each is connected to a different element of energy in the diverse pristine forests of British Columbia.
A 5 day Shamanic Journey into ancient mountain meadows searching for thunder and lightning.
This 5-day Vision Quest connects the winds of change with deep and ancient ancestral energy as we search for new perspectives on our way to renewal. This remote mountain experience explores elements of the “Shaman”, “Ceremony” and the “Cosmic Tree”. We will experience the pure mountain air within the remote alpine of the Monashee Mountains, as well as the pure energy presented by times of lightning and thunder.
This expedition explores the wide view, and represents a Vision Quest into our dreams. From here we will have a clear unobstructed view of the stars and will feel the strength and energy presented by ancient trees as they grow from the rock on the edge of glaciers.
Here we’re amidst old-growth stands of cedar and hemlock forest and extensive rolling alpine and subalpine meadows. Within this quest we will explore from a remote base camp deep in a rainforest. We will explore natural substance and non-substance hallucinogenic methods while in sacred ceremony and under the guidance of qualified Shamanic Coaches.
This Vision Quest challenges participants to explore opportunities and obstacles that will expand meaningful purpose in their lives all utilizing methods of communication with wild sentient forces that exist in nature and beyond.
This retreat also includes exercises in Shamanic Coaching and the Yasei Shinrin Yoku Six Pillars of Wild Intention. You can also expand this into a 10 day retreat if you choose.

Each retreat includes exciting and comforting features that bridge wellness with the natural world. Each program includes:
- Airport shuttle and touring between the Sanctuary Forest Centre and retreat destinations.
- Each program is guided by professional Shamanic Coaches and Practitioners.
- Comfortable but authentic glamping tents, rustic cabins and retreat facilities.
- Numerous gentle guided walkabouts with meditation sessions connected to unique forest and mountain ecosystems.
- Each program includes the Wildcraft Forest 6 Session Yasei Shinrin Yoku Experience.
- Features a variety of Yasei Shinrin Yoku and Shamanic exercises everyday.
- Daytime and evening presentations and discussions about Shamanism and the wild relationships that link better health with nature.
- Healing, bodywork and Vision Quest demonstrations and exercises.
- Quality meals prepared in an outdoor kitchen that includes wildcrafted cuisine and culinary learning so that you can rewild your diet.
- Ample alone time that’s just for you.
- Each program includes Earth stewardship experiences and methods of modern and ancient caretaking as well as ceremonies which can help offer protection and restore balance in the forest.
- We offer an extra free day in advance of your program so that you can arrive early and relax and a free day at the end so that you can plan your departure with ease.
